01 — The story
The Samarth Magna Group began in 1995; Magna Ferrochem followed in 1998, focused on one discipline: green sand moulding and risering for ferrous castings.
Over 27 years that focus grew into a full consumables range — lustrous carbon additives, engineered coal blends, exothermic and insulating sleeves, direct-pouring sleeves with filters, and inoculants — supplied to 500+ foundries across western and southern India.
What makes us unusual is the other half of the group: three working foundries of our own. Every Magna product runs on our own moulding lines and through our own molten-metal laboratory before it is offered to a customer. When we say a sleeve extends solidification 2.5×, it's because we measured it on our castings first.
Alongside Magna Industries and Samarth Metallurgicals (resin coated sands), the group today employs 400+ people — a mix of metallurgists, foundry operators and sand-lab technicians who speak your line's language.
